The positive and negative poles of the in-line LED lamp beads can be judged by the following methods:

Observe the pin structure: the pins of in-line LED lamp beads are usually metal pins that are directly inserted into the circuit board. Of these, the longer lead is usually the positive (anode) and the shorter lead is the negative (cathode). If the pins are the same length, you can check the marking on the pin or the data sheet to determine the positive and negative polarity.

 

Check the product identification: some in-line LED lamp beads will have positive and negative signs, such as "+" or "-" symbols, or "P" (positive) and "N" (negative) next to the pins and other letter identification. These markings can help you determine the positive and negative poles.

Use a multimeter to measure: You can use the resistance measurement function of the multimeter to judge the positive and negative poles of the in-line LED lamp beads. After the multimeter selects the resistance measurement gear, touch the positive and negative poles to the two pins of the LED light bead respectively. If the resistance value shows normal (usually between tens of ohms and hundreds of ohms), then the pin is positive, otherwise negative.
