Recently, many Amazon US sellers have received an official notification email from Amazon. The notice shows that starting from October 31, 2023, Amazon will restrict the sales of light-emitting diode (LED) headlight modification kits in U.S. stores.
The reason is: The LED headlight retrofit kit does not comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS NO. 108). Amazon policy prohibits the listing or sale of products that do not comply with all applicable laws, so sellers in U.S. stores may no longer sell or distribute these products.

It is reported that if a seller has remaining inventory of such products in the Amazon fulfillment center, he or she needs to create a removal order to return or dispose of the remaining inventory. If you do not submit a removal order for the affected ASINs within 30 days of receiving the removal notification, Amazon may process this unsellable inventory in accordance with the terms of service and policies applicable to your listing.
Once Amazon creates a removal order, the seller cannot cancel it, and Amazon will reimburse the seller for the cost of removing the affected inventory at the seller's request.
